NAD+ Treatment for Alzheimer's, Dementia and Parkinson's

There is no shame.

The human brain requires more energy than any other organ in the body, and brain cells are especially vulnerable to age-related depletion of NAD+ (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide); a critical component of cellular energy production that naturally decreases with age.

Research has shown that this reduction in NAD+ is related to the onset of neurodegenerative diseases including Alzheimer’s, dementia and parkinson’s

Benefits of NAD+ Therapy Include:

NAD+ Therapy is not the only treatment offered!

During your initial intake, we perform a comprehensive personal review focusing on the biopsychosocial model of medicine.

We strive to find the root cause of your problems and help you with changes in mindset, behavior, and medications/supplements that will allow you to live the life you want.

Other IV Therapy modalities, such as Ketamine, can be used in conjunction or in lieu of NAD+ Therapy depending on your specific situation

NAD+ offers New Hope

Recent research indicates that intravenous NAD+ therapy can counteract the processes in these types of neurodegenerative diseases, facilitate healthy brain aging and act as an effective treatment for these neurological disorders. Replenishing NAD+ through intravenous infusion treatment could potentially contribute to slowing the progression of neurodegeneration associated with these diseases.

NAD+ IV infusion therapy is a superior approach to boosting NAD+ levels over oral supplements that rely on the digestive tract for absorption. Oral forms of NAD+ are usually poorly absorbed and frequently pass through the digestive system without ever breaking down for absorption.

In contrast, IV infusion therapy delivers NAD+ and other essential nutrients directly to a patient’s bloodstream, bypassing the digestive tract and rapidly delivering it to the brain.

How does NAD+ treat Neurodegenerative diseases?

NAD+ is known to play an important role in the processes of the brain, such as neurotransmission, learning, memory, and may also mediate brain aging and the tissue damage associated with neurodegenerative brain illnesses.

NAD+ improves cognitive function and reduces neuroinflammation by providing the brain’s neurons with the energy source needed to function properly.

Studies suggest that NAD+ has the ability to repair and regenerate neuronal cells in several ways. NAD+ encourages the activation and performance of mitochondria, the ‘power house’ of the cell. This mechanism allows the neurons to regain function by increasing available energy, thereby strengthening and increasing the production of enzymes associated with the growth and extension of new neurons. These enzymes are also known to protect neurons from oxidative stress and can prolong cell life.

Neurodegenerative diseases are associated with low NAD+ levels. Research suggests that NAD+ therapy in the early stages of these diseases can reverse this deficit and slow down the progression of neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, and Huntington’s diseases resulting in limiting, and even reversing symptoms.

In summary, research (in mice) has shown that NAD+ is involved with repair and actually grow new brain cells (neurogenesis) while activating the enzymes responsible for DNA repair and degrading the dysfunctional proteins associated with neurodegeneration. These results still need to be verified in humans however the data to date is very promising.

During Your NAD+ Infusion

We strive to ensure all of our patients feel as comfortable as possible during treatment. We provide individualized care and promise our full attention. NAD+ infusions are NOT psychoactive (meaning you will not experience hallucinations or anything of that nature) however they do take anywhere from 4-8 hours to infuse.

We are a fully equipped medical facility ready for the unlikely event of an emergency. Dr. Mallek is a board-certified anesthesiologist with extensive experience in situations far more acute than those encountered at our clinic. Our clinic is designed to be a comforting setting designed specifically for the treatments offered.
